Dr. Adama Kalokoh – Founder/Board Chair

Board Member and CEO

Dr. Adama Kalokoh is a Sierra Leonean-American with over two decades of experience in project management, public speaking, event planning, child protection and female empowerment.  She served in the United States Air-Force for four years as a nutritionist and later attended the University of the District of Columbia where she majored in Public Health. Upon graduating from college, she participated in Ameri-Corp where, alongside HOPE Worldwide, she directed and managed community improvement projects throughout the Washington, DC metropolitan area. 

Throughout all of her experiences, she focused on improving the lives of women and children, especially young girls from marginalized communities in the United States and Sierra Leone.  In 2019, she founded Impact Sierra Leone.  Since founding the organization, she has led several projects to reduce poverty through agriculture, education and gender equity.   

Dr. Kalokoh has a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Public Health and an Honorary Doctorate Degree from GODSU because of her outstanding work in international development (specifically Sierra Leone). Dr. Kalokoh is a member of and serves on the board of directors for Global Goodwill Ambassadors Foundation (GGAF).
