Yeabu has over 10 years’ experience as a Development and Fundraising Professional. She began her fundraising career at Peace Action as a Productions Manager and Development Associate. Peace Action is the largest grassroots peace organization in the United States. While there, she helped raise substantial revenue for the organization over the span of six years.
As a Sierra – Leonean American from Washington DC, she always felt an obligation to contribute to her local community and her parents’ homeland of Sierra Leone in meaningful ways.
